Former Disney Channel child actress, Skai Jackson was arrested in West Hollywood last week after a domestic altercation involving herself and her boyfriend at Universal Studios.

According to a representative from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, security personnel observed the couple beginning to argue and decided to intervene when they allegedly saw Jackson push her boyfriend multiple times.

Security guards detained the couple until police arrived. Upon reviewing the footage, authorities noted that Jackson appeared to have pushed her boyfriend twice, leading to her arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery. She was cited and released a few hours later, Marca reports.

Jackson has been acting since she was 5 years old and made several minor on-screen appearances as a child. She first appeared on Disney in the series “Disney Monstober” in 2011, when she was 9, and was a major character in “Jesse” and its spin-off series, “Bunk’d.”
