Nigerian singer and Grammy Award winner, Burnaboy has become the topic of hot discussion on the internet. This is due to some strong assertions he made in the snippet of his upcoming album. In the snippet, Burnaboy made the claim that Nigerians who became rich without joining politics are often victimised.

Burna Boy had earlier in a series of cryptic posts teased that the release his first album of 2024 would be by 12am on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. The singer made the announcement in a post on his social media platform, which simply read, “Album dropping 12am.”

The Afrobeat star has however dropped a snippet of the upcoming album titled “No Sign of Weakness.” The snippet track titled “Empty Chairs” has gathered much reactions on the internet. As at the time of this report, it had gathered over 11 thousand tweets in twenty four hours on X (formerly Twitter).

“If you no be politician and you manage get rich, them go turn you victim of society.

My enemies are no longer on the streets of the road. Now they’re on the internet for the blogs,” he sings in the snippet, which went viral on X on Monday night.

His lyrics resonated with majority of the netizens, many of whom eagerly displayed their excitement for his music.
