Reactions flooded social media following the weekend premiere of the second season of House of the Dragon.

Based on G.R.R Martin’s A song of Ice and Fire franchise, House of the Dragon is a prequel of sorts to the events of Game of Thrones, another popular TV series in the same franchise.

The second season premiere could not have come at a better time following the cliffhanger ending of the first season.

The series continues the division within the Targaryen family as they are divided into two factions following the death of Viserys Targaryen, Team Green, which supports Alicent Hightower and Team Black, which supports Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Although the fates of the characters have mostly been determined, most fans are curious of the changes that might happen and how it will unfold on screen.

The series is set to be released weekly from now till around August, 2024.
