The Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe has passed on.

Late Danasabe was confirmed dead in the morning of Friday, 10th November 2023, at an undisclosed hospital in Lokoja. He was rushed to the hospital after he slumped. It was further revealed that he battled some illness.

The news of his death came in barely 24 hours before the governorship election in Kogi State.

A family relative revealed that, “the Doctors confirmed him clinically dead around 4:30 am on Friday.”

He is survived by Mother, wife, and children.

A member of the family revealed that late Danasabe will be buried at the Unguwan Kura Muslim Cemetery after Juma’at prayer.

Members of the community are going in and out of his family house today to console the family over the sudden death.
