MAPOLY Students Cautioned Against Vices

Students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, have been advised to eschew violence as the nation faces financial challenges.

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun  gave the advice on Friday while addressing Students of MAPOLY at Adigbe as part of the activities in the ongoing campaign rally in Obafemi Owode local government area.

He stated that the destruction of public property, will not solve the problem but aggravate it.  

The Governor explained that government has done a lot in cushion the effects of the hardship by distributing palliative to the people of the state.

He said  the state government has introduced many youth empowerment programs such as annual bursary award to assist the students in their academic activities.

The Governor pledged that the Ojeere road that is presently in deplorable condition would be reconstructed before the forthcoming general election.

Earlier, the president of MAPOLY Students Union Government, SUG, Comrade Babajide Abiola commended Governor Abiodun for being passionate about the development of tertiary education in the State.

He promised that students across the state have resolved to support the re-election bid of the governor for second term.
