Davido: “It Is Not Your Duty To Advise A Grieving Person”— Timi Dakolo

By

Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo, has condemned people who offer unsolicited advice to individuals during their grieving periods.

The singer took to his Instagram page on Tuesday to express his displeasure at some Nigerians who were meant to console Davido on the death of his son, Ifeanyi, but were doing the opposite by advising him and his fiancée, Chioma.

Recall that Davido and his fiancée lost their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi, on Monday, through a domestic accident, throwing many friends and well-wishers into mourning.

Dakolo noted that the advice is coming at a very wrong time and that people are expected to pray for the family instead.

In the post, he said, “It’s not your duty to advise a grieving person, the timing is wrong. Just pray for them and go your way.”
