The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has postponed the commencement of its campaigns earlier scheduled for Wednesday.

Director General of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council who also doubles as the Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong revealed this in a statement on Tuesday.

In the statement, Lalong noted that the reason for postponement of the campaign activities is to accommodate more stakeholders in order to expand the campaign council list.

The statement reads, “Recall that we had earlier earmarked a peace walk and prayers for Wednesday, September 28, 2022, to officially kick-off our campaigns for the 2023 Presidential Elections.

“However, due to the expansion of the list to accommodate more stakeholders and interests within the APC family, we have decided to adjust the time-table of these activities in order to ensure everyone is on board before activities officially commence.”

He said that a new date for the commencement of the campaign would be communicated to the public soon.
