The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has married a new wife, Mariam Anako, about nine months after his divorce with Queen Naomi Silekunola.
The monarch received his new bride on Tuesday evening after brief rites at the palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
The new queen who hails from Kogi State is a top management executive of Nestoil Limited.
She was thereafter led into the inner court of the palace to meet her husband and other guests waiting to receive her.
It was gathered that siblings of the new queen and Oba Ogunwusi were present at the private ceremony.
The ceremony was also graced by chiefs and close aides.
It would be recalled that the monarch’s ex-wife, Naomi Silekunola had about nine months ago taken to her Instagram page to announce that her three-year old marriage to the monarch had ended.

Zaynab confirmed that her 17-month old marriage to the monarch ended on 30th of August, 2017.
Following this, in October 2018, the monarch again revealed his now ex-second wife, Naomi Silekunola.
He married her 14 months after his divorce with his first wife, Zaynab Otiti-Obanor.
