Olympiakos Defeats Fiorentina to Win UEFA Europa Conference League Trophy

Greek club, Olympiakos have defeated Italian Serie A side Fiorentina 1-Nil to win the UEFA Europa Conference League title.
The game was full of intensity and high pressure from both sides, but the only goal of the match was scored by Moroccoan striker, Ayoub El Kaabi, who headed in a cross by Santiago Hezze in the 116th minute to give Olympiakos the trophy.
This win will be Jose Luis Mendilibar’s second successive European honour for the campaign, having guided Sevilla to UEFA Europa League glory last season. It will also establish Olympiakos as Greece’s first club to win European trophy.
This defeat marks Fiorentina’s second consecutive UEFA Europa Conference League final loss, having suffered a similar fate in the hands of West Ham United last season.
