Various news and reactions have surfaced on the internet following Manchester United underdog victory over English Premier League title winners, Manchester City in FA Cup final at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

The Red Devils took the lead via a strike by wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho in the 30th minute. Kobbie Mainoo, another teenage sensation in the United team doubled the lead in the 39th minute from a Bruno Fernandes assist.

Unfortunately for the Cityzens, Jeremy Doku’s 85th minute strike was not enough to bring them close to the title as the Red Devils ran out eventual winners.

However, despite the FA Cup triumph, speculations have risen over the future of the Manchester United team with the manager’s future and days after, Man Utd is still trending on the Nigerian Twitter space.

While some were still reeling in the victory, others were pleading with the Man Utd hierarchy and new owners, INEOS not to sack the manager, Erik ten Hag, whose job is said to be “under review”.

Some fans on the other hand were just trolling other clubs while others were appreciating departing players, with the likes of Casemiro, Varane, Martial set to leave the club in a massive squad clear out this summer.
