Presidential Tax reform committee to present report to N’Ass in 2024 Q3

The Presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms which was inaugurated by president Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, 8th August, 2024 is scheduled to present it’s findings to the National Assembly around September.
The committee which consists of 38 members from the private and public sectors of the economy and chaired a fiscal policy and taxation expert, Mr Taiwo Oyedele was tasked with  having responsibility for the various aspects of tax law reform, fiscal policy design and coordination, harmonization of taxes, and revenue administration.
The committee which was mandated to present a reform plan achievable in 30 days has met with the presidency a few times to provide feedbacks on their progress. But they are now set to present their proposals to the legislative arm of the federal republic in the third quarter of the year.
