It was a celebration galore at the First Baptist Church, Garki-Abuja yesterday Sunday, 5th November 2023 as the church marks its Annual Thanksgiving.

The members of the famous Baptist Church could not hide their happiness as they expressed their joy before God for the grace of seeing another Annual Thanksgiving.

In his sermon, the Ag. Senior Pastor of the Church, Rev. Tom Takpatore charged the members to always give thanks to God for who He is.

He added that God’s goodness to man is unlimited, even in our unfaithfulness, God is good to us.

The text for the special service was taken from Psalm 118: 15-16.

Takpatore stated that God is good, nice, and kind and needs to be exalted because His love endures forever.

Thereafter, members of the church filed out family by family, and unit by unit to offer their substance to God in appreciation and Thanksgiving for His love and what He has done over the last year.

Farm produce and different kinds of fruits were offered in thanksgiving unto the Lord.
