Adeleke Applauds President Tinubu for Confirming Adeniyi As The Custom CG

Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, has praised President Bola Tinubu for appointing Bashir Adeniyi as Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.
He said the confirmation was a bold declaration of the President’s resolve to reorient Customs for greater effectiveness and productivity.
He praised Tinubu for recognizing Adeniyi’s capacity to further his goal within the paramilitary group and promised that Adeniyi would fulfill his promise and uphold his appointment.
Adeleke thanked Adeniyi for the meritorious advancement in his career in a message sent on Sunday, October 22 2023, by his spokeswoman, Olawale Rasheed, noting that his confirmation is a reward for years of dedication, competence, and a clear commitment to public service.
The Governor was cited as stating in a congratulatory letter, “On behalf of the good people of Osun state, I heartily rejoice with a distinguished professional, Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, on his confirmation as the Comptroller-General of Customs by President Bola Tinubu.”
“Mr. Bashir’s confirmation is evidence of his alluring reputation, skill, and dedication to the Customs Service over the years. It also highlights President Tinubu’s commitment to giving people with demonstrated capacity increased responsibility in advancing the nation, according to Adeleke.
