Joe Biden Visits Israel Amidst Its Attacks

The United States President Joe Biden arrived in Israel on Wednesday amidst the Hamas attacks on Israeli.
His flight landed before 11am at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, where he was welcomed by the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu personally. Air Force One touched down just before 11 am (0800 GMT) at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion airport, where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was set to welcome Biden personally on the tarmac.
Biden’s arrival in Tel Aviv occurred in less than a day after a horrifying blast at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. The Palestinian officials said hundreds are dead following the explosion at the center of the city and accused Israel. The Israelis denied responsibility and fixed blame on a failed rocket launch by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
More so, the Palestine Islamic Jihad denied accusations that the hospital blast was caused by a misfired rocket from their side as “false and baseless.” The group said in a statement: “The Zionist enemy is trying hard to evade its responsibility for the brutal massacre committed by bombing the Baptist Arab National Hospital in Gaza through the usual fabrication of lies, and through pointing the finger of blame at the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine.”

The President Biden was met to meet King Abdullah of Jordan, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt and, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to discuss a humanitarian response was scrapped. Shortly after the hospital explosion, Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian Authority, canceled his scheduled meeting with Biden in Jordan and declared three days of morning, according to the reports.
It was gathered that Biden will first meet with Netanyahu for a restricted bilateral meeting, the meeting will comprise of other US officials and the Israeli War Cabinet.
