Real Madrid Keen On Boniface’s Summer Move
By

Real Madrid Football Club is hopeful of adding another striker while Jude Bellingham continues with his incredible performance since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund. The Spanish giants are still in the market for a striker and are seriously considering Nigeria international, Victor Boniface.
Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, report on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, that Boniface is a player of interest to Madrid as Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring in a talented striker to replace the void position left by Karim Benzema’s departure to the Saudi Professional League.

Boniface, a 22-year-old striker plays for Bayer Leverkusen in a deal worth over €20m since last summer and has been in great form, contributing 11 goals in just eight appearances.
The Nigerian’s striker record of eight goals and three assists in the Bundesliga brings attention from top clubs, including Manchester City to him.
Madrid, in particular, is keeping a close watch on him as they seek to solidify their squad ahead of the 2024 summer transfer window.
Kylian Mbappe still remains their primary target but there are concerns he may renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain instead of joining Real Madrid.
Boniface remains a viable target for the Spanish giants despite having several options on their radar.
The club is also interested in Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz all from Bayer Leverkusen and are considering appointing Xabi Alonso as their next manager to replace Carlo Ancelloti.
The 2024 summer transfer window is fast approaching, the Los Blancos want to make significant moves to strengthen their squad, with a bid for Boniface a priority.
In September, Defense Central also reported that Los Blancos are closely monitoring Boniface’s countryman, Terem Moffi, as part of their Plan B should their pursuit of France international Kylian Mbappe doesn’t sail through in the 2024 summer transfer window.
