The Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Jalingo on Saturday, September 30, 2023, ruled in favour of the election of Dr. Agbu Kefas the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as the Governor of Taraba State.

The three-man panel dismissed the petition filed by the New Nigerian People’s Party NNPP, and its candidate Prof. Sani Yahaya for lacking in merit.
