NDLEA Raids Taxi Driver’s Apartment,Recover Illicit Drug

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has carried out a raid on the apartment of Godwin Ejiro, a taxi driver, resulting in the recovery of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, swinol, and loud.
On Sunday,19th June,2023, Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy at the NDLEA, shared this information on his Facebook page.
According to Babafemi, Ejiro engages in the sale of illicit drugs to young individuals and conceals the narcotics within plastic tables located in his room.
He said, “This fellow is a taxi driver but beneath that, he destroys the lives of innocent young people in the community selling them cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud. The shocker is where he hides the drugs in his house as the video here shows when #ndlea_nigeria officers raided his home.”
This development comes just a week after the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) discovered a clandestine laboratory producing Methamphetamine in the Ikeja area of Lagos state. Additionally, numerous sachets of the drug, along with the associated production chemicals, were successfully seized during the operation.
On Tuesday, June 6th, NDLEA operatives conducted a raid on a laboratory situated at No. 4 Bode Oluwo Street, Mende, Maryland Ikeja. During the operation, they successfully seized one kilogram of methamphetamine that had already been produced and packaged. The agency is currently making continuous efforts to apprehend the individual responsible for the property.
