Politician Pays Fees for 200 Uni. Students

By

In a remarkable gesture, Olayinka Braimo, the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance in Kogi State, has covered the school fees of 200 university students in the state. The momentous occasion took place in Lokoja, where the students received the cheques for their school fees.

Saliu Abdulsalam, a representative of the students, expressed his gratitude for the timely payment of the school fees.

He mentioned that some financially disadvantaged students had lost hope of being able to join their peers in writing the examinations for the current semester.

Abdulsalam recognized this act as a means through which God has wiped away their tears, attributing it to the generosity and compassion of the governorship hopeful.

The president of the National Association of Kogi State Students, represented by Chief of Staff Akande Ezekiel, lauded Braimo as a trustworthy and benevolent individual. He contrasted Braimo’s actions with those of other politicians who often make grand promises without following through.

The students’ representative emphasized that Braimo’s actions serve as proof that he will not let down the youth and the underprivileged masses if given the opportunity to lead.

During the event, Braimo encouraged the students to focus on their studies and avoid any distractions that could jeopardize their future. He emphasized that the present and future of Nigeria belong to the youth, and that they must work diligently to achieve greatness in their lives.

This act of supporting the education of 200 university students showcases Braimo’s commitment to empowering the younger generation and underscores his belief in the pivotal role education plays in shaping a prosperous future.
