President Muhammadu Buhari endorses Tinubu in a Presidential rally held in Lafia square on Saturday after appreciating supporters who defied the harsh weather in a bid to support their preferred candidates.

The President spoke before a mammoth Crowd , where he assured members of the All Progressive Congress and her supporters that he would continue to campaign for Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima.

The President, in a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, was quoted as saying, “I congratulate and assure you that God willing we are going to win through and through“.

Tinubu proceeded to say , “I have known him for more than 20 years, and I will continue to campaign for Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is a committed Nigerian and I believe he will give all his best to Nigeria“.

The APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in return thanked the President for his support in his campaign and for working hard for the survival of Nigeria.

In his words “Nigeria is surviving as a nation because of constitutional democracy we would have asked you to continue, but you said no, you are going back to Daura, your hometown”

Tinubu seized the opportunity to clear the air about having a frosty relationship with the president.

“Those who think there are cracks in our friendship and relationship would continue to be disappointed and have their short-term joy limited. Ours is not about the individual but about nation building, honesty, integrity and character,” he said.
