Buhari Sacks NYSC DG, Kukah Fadah
By
President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Muhammad Kukah Fadah.
Sources revealed that Fadah’s removal was because of his glaring incompetence in the six months he has piloted the affairs of the corps.
Another source stated that Fadah has been ordered to hand over to the most senior civil servant in the NYSC to head it in the interim pending the appointment of a substantive DG by Buhari.
Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Sunday Dare, whose office supervises the NYSC also confirmed Fadah’s sacking.
Dare responded to an inquiry from Arise TV on Friday with a ‘yes’ to the questions about the removed NYSC DG.
Fadah assumed office as NYSC DG in May, 2022. He replaced Major General Shu’aibu Ibrahim.
