The presidential candidate of The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has left the country for political campaigns in the United States of America.

Atiku is beginning his week-long electioneering campaign in the United States of America, where he will be meeting Nigerians and other top business leaders based in the US.

Three weeks ago, Atiku had flagged off his electioneering campaign in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. It was followed by the Kaduna campaign and another, last Saturday, in Benin City.

According to a preliminary presidential campaign schedule, Atiku is expected to return to Nigeria on Monday, October 31, and by Tuesday, November 1, 2022, it would be the turn of Ekiti State, while the campaign rally in Ondo State would hold on Wednesday, November 2.

Recall that there were talks in 2018 that Atiku could not visit the US. He, however, visited the US in 2018 in the company of the then senate president, Bukola Saraki, and other chieftains in the PDP.

His visit was essential because it banished all rumors that he could not travel to the US.
