Tinubu says, “I’d Lead Nigeria To Its Best Future”

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has assured that he and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, will put out their plans to lead Nigeria to its best future.
Tinubu disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday. He added that the party’s campaign will be taken to every part of the country while inviting Nigerians to join his team on “this exciting and important journey.”
“Today marks the commencement of the 2023 presidential campaign across the country. I invite all Nigerians to join me and His Excellency Senator Kashim Shettima on this exciting and important journey as we set our shared vision of renewed hope for the people of our dear country, Nigeria”, the statement read.
“We will, in the weeks and months ahead, be taking our dream of a functional, safe, secure, and prosperous Nigeria to every part of Nigeria and we will continue to put forward our plan to lead this country towards its best future.
“Our nation stands at a threshold of history. We, like every almost other nation in the world, face significant challenges. Some have been of our own making, others, the consequences of factors well beyond the control of any Nigerian. However, one thing remains certain – we cannot afford to get this one wrong”, he further stated.
“I am prepared and ready, with my running mate, to provide the leadership that will inspire our country to greater glory with new thinking, innovative ideas, and vision”, he concluded.
Youths Vow To Deliver 10 Million Votes For Tinubu
As election campaigns officially kick off nationwide, youths under the auspices of the City Boy Movement on Wednesday vowed to deliver 10 million votes for the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the forthcoming 2023 election.
As part of initial campaign rallies, youths converged at the Unity Fountain, Abuja as they hope to replicate nationwide in the coming months.
Speaking with journalists at the rally, CBM’s National Coordinator, Shoaga Francis, said any slip in Nigeria’s choice of President will be costly.
He said, “The main reason we’re here today is to tell Nigerians that there is one alternative to the presidency in 2023. There is only one man that can change this economy for good. Any mistake will be detrimental. Asiwaju needs the youths. It’s time for them to be recognised again in this country.”
The APC Deputy National Youths Leader, Jamaludeen Kabir, noted that with plans underway for a nationwide rally, Tuesday’s convergence is only one out of many.
According to him, 10 million youth votes will be mobilized to vote the APC standard bearer into office in 2023.
Market Women Confident To Support Tinubu
In the same vein, the President of the Women Cooperative Society of Nigeria, Mrs Oluwatoyin Badmus, said with Nigerian women constituting the highest population of voters, market women and traders are confident to support the Tinubu/Shettima ticket.
She explained that a larger percentage of women vote while stating that Asiwaju doesn’t joke with women. She further said all market women are solidly behind him.
“Our group has coordinators in almost all the markets in Nigeria. Women have been registering for our corporative. And we don’t register anyone who does not have a PVC. Our women have their PVCs, and their vote is for Asiwaju,” she noted.
