Kano Chinese community under the auspices of The Chinese Business Community Association of Nigeria (CBCAN) has condemned the killing of Ummul-Kulthum Buhari by her Chinese lover, Geng Quanrong.

The association under the leadership of Wakilin Mutanen China Kano, Mike Zhang, in a statement signed by Wakilin’s assistant, Guang Lei Zhang, on Monday condemned the killing.

The statement also emphasized that the criminal act should be allowed to be professionally handled by relevant security agencies.

According to the statement, “The Chinese community in Kano is fully in support of the law taking its proper course.”

The association also appreciated the hospitality extended to members of the Chinese Community in Kano.

They added that Chinese nationals would continue to be law-abiding, friendly and contribute to the development of Kano.

In the statement, the community also consoles with the family of the deceased.

Recall that Quanrong, 47, of Nassarawa GRA Quarters, Kano State, went to the residence of Ummul-Kulthum, 22, and allegedly stabbed her to death.
