Fans Warn Joshua To Steer Clear Of Fury In December

After accepting to fight Tyson Fury, fans have sent strong warnings to Anthony Joshua not to make an attempt to fight the heavyweight champion this year.
On Monday, Joshua accepted Fury’s challenge after the latter called him out on social media, adding that he will be ready to take on his fellow Briton by December.
The WBC heavyweight champion had challenged the British-Nigerian to a December Battle of Britain.
Joshua responded to Fury’s antics with his Twitter handle, “Yea calm. I don’t do the online discussions just for clout, so if you’re really about it shout @258mgt (Joshua’s management). I’ll be ready in December.”
Meanwhile, fans have cautioned the British-Nigerian boxer to give himself a break, as he is just recovering from his back to back losses to Olekansdr Usyk.
Popular influencer, Daniel Regha, in his response to Joshua’s tweet said, “Anthony Joshua don’t get ahead of yourself, you are far from ready to fight Tyson Fury judging by your performance against Usyk in which you lost twice in a row; you are no doubt a great boxer, but you are not on Fury’s level yet. Act wise, rebuild yourself before taking on a challenge. No offense [sic].”
In the same vein, boxing journalist, Gareth Davies has also warned Anthony Joshua not to attempt a fight against Tyson Fury this year.
He said, “It would be unwise now for Anthony Joshua to accept a fight with Tyson Fury. It might look like a chance to get into the title picture again, but in reality, the timing is all wrong for a fighter who is licking his wounds after successive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.”
